I was walking down Merrimack Street the other day and spotted this Chinese proverb in the window of the United Teachers of Lowell office. I just had to share it here because the words are so true:
“If you are planning for a year, sow rice. If you are planning for a decade, plant trees; if you are planning for a lifetime, educate people.”
